From the land of hotdish and hockey, Jessica Koehler, Mrs. Minnesota America, married her husband, Dr. Eric Koehler, eight years ago and adopted his two children with special needs after losing their mother to addiction. Jessica put her own pursuits aside while nurturing her new family, which soon added another son. She later applied her network marketing gift to become a Top Global Achiever in the health and wellness industry and host of her own live social media show. As a business leader, Mrs. Minnesota attends Harvard University Executive Leadership Program to hone her skills and better guide her team to success.
The title of Mrs. Minnesota has opened many doors and opportunities to create a ripple effect of using #BeautyForGood. Children’s lives are being affected in many ways by the changes we’ve had as a nation over the last year, and Jessica knows all too well how addiction can affect teens and school-aged children. She has made it her goal to educate youth in crisis as a Mentor with Minnesota Adult and Teen Challenge. By guiding young people through recovery with support, education, and life skills, Jessica’s goal is to create a docuseries unabashedly sharing the teen recovery experience with others.
Jessica has created a 12 Days of Giving Campaign in collaboration with local businesses raising thousands for addiction services for Minnesota Adult and Teen Challenge and The Victoria’s Voice Foundation – The national platform of Mrs. America.
